What you get
- Wave-1 pricing. $1/mo, $5/yr, or $10 lifetime — vs the standard $2/mo, $10/yr, $20 lifetime. Pick whichever billing cadence you want.
- The same product as full price. No feature gates, no "beta tier" missing pieces. You get the same Voxstr that ships at standard pricing — local-only transcription, on-device AI cleanup, and text injection across every Mac app.
- Founder access if you stay through launch. If you redeem during Wave 1 and remain active, you become a Voxstr Founder. We will email you a separate Founders license carrying a permanent perk before any future pricing change can affect you. See The Founders code below.
How to redeem
- Click any Get Voxstr button on voxstr.com, or open the pricing section and pick your plan: monthly, yearly, or lifetime.
- On the LemonSqueezy checkout page, click Have a discount code? and paste the code from the launch post (LinkedIn or Instagram). The same code works for everyone in the Wave-1 cohort.
- The pricing on the checkout updates to the Wave-1 tier — $1, $5, or $10 — before you submit payment. If you don't see the discount applied, do not complete the checkout: see If the code didn't apply.
- Complete checkout. A credit card is required at this step. If the discount is 100% off, no charge is placed for the promo period; otherwise the discounted amount is billed normally.
- You'll receive a license key by email from LemonSqueezy. This is the email you'll need to paste into Voxstr — keep it.
- Open Voxstr, go to Settings → License, paste the key, and click Activate. The menu bar icon will switch from trial mode to active immediately.
If the code didn't apply
Run through these in order. The first three cover the overwhelming majority of failed redemptions.
- Code mistyped. Copy it directly from the launch post rather than retyping. The codes are case-sensitive and contain no spaces.
- Code not yet active. The launch goes live at a specific UTC time on launch day. If you grabbed the code from a screenshot or pre-share before that time, the LemonSqueezy backend will not recognize it yet. Wait until the announced launch time and try again.
- Code already redeemed. Wave 1 is capped at roughly 300 cohort redemptions. Once that cap is reached, the code stops applying for new checkouts. If you missed the cap, the standard $2/mo, $10/yr, $20 lifetime pricing still applies.
- Checkout error. If the LemonSqueezy page itself errors out (network issue, card decline, bank verification step), close the tab and start the checkout fresh. Pasting the code on the second attempt will work normally.

Wave-1 specifics and the cutoff
Wave 1 is a 14-day window. The promo code is active for 14 days from the launch announcement and stops working at midnight UTC on day 15. After the cutoff, pricing returns to standard for new customers.
If you redeem before the cutoff, your discounted rate stays with your license:
- Monthly subscriptions renew at $1/mo for as long as you keep the subscription active.
- Yearly subscriptions renew at $5/yr for as long as you keep the subscription active.
- Lifetime licenses are $10 once, with no expiry, for the foreseeable life of the product.
If you let a subscription lapse and resubscribe after the Wave-1 cutoff, the new subscription is billed at standard pricing. The Wave-1 rate is tied to your continuously active license, not to your account.
Plan-switch note: if you start on a Wave-1 monthly and want to upgrade to yearly or lifetime later, contact [email protected] — we'll honor the Wave-1 tier on the new plan as long as your original Wave-1 license has been continuously active.
The Founders code
Beta testers who redeem during Wave 1 and remain active are Voxstr Founders. Before any future pricing change ever affects you, we will email a separate Founders license tied to your account. The Founders license carries a permanent perk that travels with you across plan changes — it is the explicit grandfathering mechanism for Wave-1 testers.
You don't need to do anything to claim Founders status. If you redeemed during Wave 1 and your license is still active, you're in. The Founders email goes out before any pricing change is publicly announced, so you have time to react if you want to.
